Thanks for this comment, I did thought the same thing after Honza sent me the final edit. Now that I think about it, I would rather include DOX (blimp) over the market that someone complianed about in another comment. I rewatched the video last night with my girlfriend and it really made us wana do the walk together. Anyhow, thanks for watching and comment!

I did the same walk on my last trip starting from DOX, and it was my favorite day in Prague on the trip. For me the magic of Prague is less in its individual parts and more in the way it hangs together as a whole, and taking long walks that traverse the city is the best way to really enjoy it as a tourist.

I wholeheartedly agree! I was in Prague in 2014 and returned 2023, revisiting some places and checking out new ones thanks to Honest Guide. While it was a magical trip and everything we did and ate was great, I do think the way I did it in 2014 was the best - taking hours to just wander and see what I came across.

7:28 My Czech dictionary says that "vlajka" means "flag", "zástava" means "standard", "prapor(ec)" means "banner", and "vyvěsit prapory" means "raise the flags". 5:00 Bonus Czech sentence: "Necht' tu skončí váš spěch, shon, žízeň a hlad" means "Let your haste, hustle, thirst and hunger end (here)". 5:50 Also, I don't think I'd ever enter a tunnel that says "don't be afraid" (neboj). That's too ominous (it immediately makes me assume there is something - either in the tunnel or on the other side of it - that could make me afraid) 😨.

It's Žižkov on the other side of tunnel that scares Praguers. 😂 Only joking. But Žižkov and Karlín used to be more real and scary when I was a kid. But become more hipster like but Žižkov is more punkey still. So more like joking, this little pranks between brotherly parts divided by very steep hill, connected by tunnel. Both are lovely. Old saying was: "Karlínu, Žižkovu a Libni, zdaleka se vyhni!" Not anymore, floods change a lot of things. It change workers-like Holešovice also.

Buah the Zizkov tunnel! That's scary. The one time we walked it there were two "dudes" a bit before us with a Whip Indiana Jones style using it against the wall. That looked very scketchy. And random, and scary. Like it there were dudes willing to hit someone. Not cool 😢. And the bar at the right side when leaving also looked scketchy. Hopefully Zizkov has changed for the better.

Public transport in Prague is awesome and it will get you anywhere. A bike can work but not all parts of Prague are very accommodating for bikes. Another option is renting a bike just for a short trip with one of the bikesharing services, but you'd need to check their prices and availability.
@nadabrychtova4740

I recommend public transport with prepaid ticket for 3 days or whatever period suits you, you can get everywhere very quickly. Prague is not flat, stairs sometimes (as famous Zámecké schody) and it is easier to walk and use public transport in the centre. You can rent a bike for a trip outside.

Vlajka má navíc, na rozdíl od praporu, předepsaný poměr stran. Prapor bývá zavěšen vertikálně. Moreover, the flag has, in contrast with the banner, a prescribed aspect ratio. The banner is typically hung vertically.

I disagree, as somebody who frequents Prague is nice to know of such areas that are out of the way there's too much there to see in a week even if you only stick to the main tourist areas Prague is huge and has alot to offer if I'm visiting for a week solid I don't want to do back to back main attractions, I want to spend maybe one or two of my days chilling out in the outskirts especially when that's where you find the best food for the lowest prices
