I live in Youngstown ohio, I have my whole life, I'm still shocked that John Taffer has come to Youngstown not once but twice!! Now the federal I have never visited when it was called the Martini bro burger bar, but I have after the show has visited the bar. A couple years ago I worked in the building right next to the federal bar and they are ALWAYS packed full with customers now! What John did for the bar REALLY DID SAVE THEM!! BTW their grilled cheese cheese burger is F'ING AWESOME!! THANK YOU JOHN AND BAR RESCUE!! ❤

they most likely didnt have the right to be up there theyd need to buy it aswell, it was in a old city, they were separate floros for different buisnesses, i think the landlord was full of shit about owning the wh9ole building, or the side building stairs were broken and destrohyed, i wish i seen this building in youngstown when i was there down on my luck to see.

So I learned something absolutely wild this week. There’s a bar rescue episode that never aired because the bar owner murdered a musician the day before it was going to air. In the episode, he clearly has anger issues and he’s literally terrifying. It’s hard to find, but it is out there.

it is not a mean thing to say about Youngstown Ohio, if you know the history behind the town and whats it used to do in its prime you wouldn't say that, also it used to be the murder capitol of the united states. the effects of the black Monday still greatly effect the city, now it's an old decrepit town filled with homeless, fentanyl trafficking and violence. still it has a high murder rate after the collapse. if you have ever been there you know exactly what i mean, its DEPRESSING, the fact Jon still has a bar there that he rescued years ago still running and going is a shocker, i can go a bit more into its history based on my understanding and facts ive stored. Youngstown has been there since the 1796, and over the years and industrial revolution it used to manufacture, steel, Lots of steel, so much steel in fact that when the world wars broke out they changed during the times and had produced at least 70% of the equipment for the war effort helped by gm, now it is lost as well. in the 1970s the factories started to shutdown, years after that the town quickly, in relative terms collapsed. many schools closed, thousands of people started moving out on mass, greatly decreasing the murder rates. the economy has never recovered. it is a slum, now you sometimes can barely tell which houses are lived in and which ones are not. to call it an economically depressed is not mean by any means it is down right accurate. i hope i have imparted some knowledge on you. being homeless there myself. you can't help but feel hopeless and lost. and it burns it into your head. the fact it still is even functioning is a miracle, police there are pretty great. they dont care what the hell is going on at least there isn't great violence going on.

The land lord just needs to go. he can make his money from the people he's leasing to. If i was running a business under him, id drop my lease. im not having a landlord in my business. hes a landlord, he gets payed once a month by tenants. he is NOT part of the businesses hes renting out for.
