It's a really weird concept though, usually Jon's all about curbside appeal. How many people would just walk by this bar because they have no clue what it actually is? Word of mouth is powerful but so are walk in customers. This doesn't really seem like a concept to build long term success.

The issue I have with the laundromat speakeasy concept is that there's no way to know from the street that it's a bar, so he's relying entirely on word of mouth which just doesn't seem realistic for a place that's 4 days from running out of money. I can't imagine they had long term success with that concept.

To those wondering, “speakeasy” refers to how patrons are expected to talk while in the bar. From 1920 to 1933 (known as “the Prohibition era”), the buying, selling, manufacturing, and transportation of alcohol was illegally in the United States. While highly illegal, it was common for a legit business to operate a speakeasy in the back to bring in extra cash. These illegal bars were often promoted through word of mouth and required a password or secret phrase with a doorman to get in.

@@jaycar82 you do know that people can have knowledge about things right?
@toyamwarr2 жыл бұрын
@@jaycar82 not really. Prohibition became an interest to a lot of people at the start of the pandemic because the US government passed a law that made America’s 5th largest industry illegal for 13 years and a lot of people ignored. Some people ignored it so much that illegal behavior becomes it’s own industry (the age of the gangster). The service industry was the hardest hit industry during the pandemic. What’s the biggest thing that the service industry relies on to stay afloat? Liquor. I’m not saying that I think the pandemic was a conspiracy to hurt bar owners and restaurants but it’s weird how things repeat like that.

Most whipped spray cream is so full of preservatives that when it's opened first spray it will keep for 4weeks unlike fresh cream will turn after 4 to 6 days of been opened . That's why he said it could be kept in a fridge you buy 4 to 6 cans for a year storage in a good cold fridge after all its only 1 to 2 euros per can depending on the brand quality , so even if you had only made 3 or 4 drinks priced at 8 to 15 euro you will have made back on the 6 cans in the fridge and not many people drink creamy alcohol as the cream will sour in your gut after a few drinks . I'm irish I know this as I went threw a phase of drinking creamy alcohol drinks in my late teens early 20s and spent more time throwing up the drinks . Now I stick with good quality beers or rums and vodkas

Extracting species profile Deltadromeus (meaning "delta runner") is a genus of theropod dinosaur from Northern Africa. It had long, unusually slender hind limbs for its size, suggesting that it was a swift runner. The skull is not known. One fossil specimen of a single species (D. agilis, or "agile delta runner") has been described, found in the Kem Kem Beds, which date to the mid-Cretaceous Period (mid-Cenomanian age), about 95 million years ago. It may be a junior synonym of the contemporary Bahariasaurus. The classification of Deltadromeus has been in flux since its original description. In 2016, a South American theropod known as Gualicho shinyae was found to possess many similarities with Deltadromeus. Depending on the phylogenetic position of Gualicho, Deltadromeus may have been a neovenatorid carnosaur, a tyrannosauroid, or a basal coelurosaur if its close relation to Gualicho is legitimate. Other studies have considered it a ceratosaurian, more specifically a member of the family Noasauridae.

To John, I don't blame you for getting angry with some of the people. But why do you feel you have to start throwing dishes of food around splattering all over different ones who are just sitting there & have nothing to do with what the bar owners/workers are doing? Just curious. I really feel that it's really disrespectful to the ones innocently sitting in your wake of anger.
@harleymitchelly55422 жыл бұрын
I've dealt in food service before. No one is ever innocent in those situations. If the rear of the house is unsanitary, there is no reason to assume the front is any better. When it comes to food safety, when you fuck up, people get sick or worse. If a chef or bar expert is not ready to rip off a lot of heads after some of the gross food safety violations, both meant metaphorically and literally in a lot of these instances, there is a lack of passion there, because it is no exaggeration to say that that carries the possibility of killing someone. Absolute best case scenario, Taffer's anger is 100% in line with the Director of NASA after the Challenger explosion. When you have a fuck up that bad, you demand everyone go to their chalkboards, write down "Tough" and "Competent," and tell them never to erase it. It doesn't matter who actually did the screwup, everyone contributes to a culture of complacency that breeds those errors, and then your rocket explodes, killing all the astronauts aboard.
