I have the same exact chute with pal cage and head clamp, my 13 year old daughter works it by herself. Its awesome we love it. I also purchased the 10ft Bud Flow sweep tube with alley ways works amazingly.

I love Buzbee’s, my closest feed store. You can go broke there, but they sell you what will work best for you. They talked me into a cheaper round bale feeder since I only have three cows. Works great for me.

Is it better to have the palp cage squeeze with the chute? Seem it would be better to not have that. The cow is locked in the head chute and the chute is squeezed, The palp cage would remain wide to give the vet more room. Pulling a calf..More room? Thoughts?
