Yes. The Blood Asp is _nice_ ! I loaded up a Yrrot Atlas with AP Gauss rifles and some heavy lasers. The dps is insane!

Blood Asp back in Mech Commamder 2 was a scary mech maybe in the same level as the Atlas... could carry 2 thunderbolts and alot of armor/C ERlasers and would wipe enemies in matter of seconds

I loved my Blood Asp on MWO when I was playing that. I liked the UAC20 with two UAC10s on it most of the time.

Id try a dual heavy gauss, or IH gauss build on the sleipner, true its quirks arent that great, but a bit of cooldown is still nice for those monsters and the high ballistic hardpoints in the torso still help make it feel like a strong mech. With a ballistic computer and dmg upgrades you should be able to straight up core most mechs in 2 volleys at most to the center torso

I’d strap dual LBX/20s on that thing and upgrade ballistic damage and ballistic cooldown time. That’s what I did on my Nightstar and it just tears other mechs apart. Love that thing ❤❤❤

The King Krab was the better UAC mech i think. Not as fast by far but seemed to be lots more accurate. The high mounts are good though so i guess it balances out. You COULD fire up instant action and see what 21 ER micro lasers looks like i'm sure it's amusing as hell.

@Baradul or anyone else who knows. I've seen you using Prototype heat Sink Kits in mechs. But I can't wrap my head around how they work or why they would be superior to other heatsinks except for the -weapon heat generated perk. But they also only kick in at 90%+ heat. And then they get chances of failing. Or am I missing something else entirely? Why would you guys use them over the double heat sinks (clan or normal)? Thank you for any clarification !

I salvaged a BAS-Prime, and am wincing from the price as I repair it and put in a good build. But, it doesn't look like an MWO BAS. Must be one of those 'classic' designs. Hopefully those bigass round side torsos don't attract extra damage.

I was shocked when I threw some ERSPL and Micros on a mech as filler and they ended up being great! Lol! I thought they will filler, but they were actually saviors.

I think it's better on the marauder with the wannabe matar quirk. Dual Hags with advanced ballistic computer is super high dps. The only problem is ever running out of ammo

My only experience with the Blood Asp is Mechwarrior 4 Mercenaries and it was a glass cannon in that game.

Can you turn off the warp effect when you hit ennemies? It's oddly big, and hides all the details of damages. It just look like a jumble mess when peppering them.

Try the T6Ms Marauder V mod.... I know it says its "OUTDATED" in steam workshop (you can also get it on Nexus), it works somewhat, like there are variants missing, but it worked for me, at least in Instant Action. It's a 130t Marauder basically. Theres a variant with 6 ballistic slots and i was able to fit 4 UAC20 clan in it, OR 4 clan Gauss.

I also searched for the cyclops hero mech in game. Highly disappointed with it as well. I think it used to be better before the dlc or something, it had great quirks and lots of missile hardpoints, if I remember correctly. They also made the stalker misery a terrible mech. Tons of missile quirks, 1 missile hardpoint. Complete waste of 2 hero mechs

the blood asp is good in mwo but its kind of ehhh in this game. the uac 20's are great but the jamb time is to long and the heat.....you seemed kind of sad about the new content cause it means starting all over, i like the early game better then the late.
