On the night vision, most of the time when you turn it on, you usually have the mech's lights turned already and that washes out the night vision. Just remember to turn off the mech lights when you use it.

And ruins it:) By taking the "bruised" pilot into battlefield action you have a very good chance that he will develop a negative quirk ... the REASON why you are waiting on the other one. Also the stats are bad and the chances that a bruised pilot dies are much higher. Baradul: We need to have a serious discussion about workplace safety! I wouldn't be surprised if your pilots unionize or go on hunger strike at any point between episodes! Hehehehe, thanks for the entertaining video!:)

The small modular armour items are excellent for throwing on arms with valuable weapons, an extra half ton of armour goes a long way in keeping them safe. Especially worth it if you've got a rare weapon or one of higher tier that will be hard to find a replacement for.

You might know this but if I need to train a pilot I keep them with me that way they are not playing from their skill level but from yours until their skill level gets much higher! Of course this only works with modded mechwarrior 5 :)

You can get +15 speed from a upgrade if you have it unlocked from Cantina missions, also SB lasers are better, use em! Also your mech will likely break before ever running out of ammo, and ammo costs weight! Something to think about...

around 26:30 displays very well why the intense smoke mod is counterproductive. because you have to go to heatvision with the mod on anyways, preventing you to see the smoke that you just modded in. i rather play with normal smoke and use normal vision.

I've found the Archer to be extremely fragile, like almost wondering if a bug in the game exists squishy. Also Baradul HR has been getting complaints that you are calling new pilots goodies, please reread the employee handbook.

The heat really lowers RAC viability for me. The sustained damage is amazing, but they lose one of the main AC advantages (running cool), and they tend to spread their damage around too much. I'd rather have things I can drill a specific part with.

Exchanger II, proto DHSs, cantina upgrades really help with the RAC5's heat.

RAC's do lose the normally low heat of ballistics, but MORE than make up for it in every way possible. Going all-in on a RAC build will produce one of the best mechs in the game, even on an urbie (or especially if K9 or SC.)

KZbin is really screwing up today This is the third video I've watched today that I had to repost something that I wanted to say to begin with! I keep saying it Baradul, but you SSSSOOO need to download and install the purchase salvage mod into your game because that way it would make your life a lot easier. Doesn't make the game easier, just gives you more options to what you can actually claim when you go through the salvage. Makes sense to me and improves the economy of the game I think. And just helping out, no hen pecking here... When I was learning German, it was common for people to correct me when I was saying something wrong. Or slightly off. So that I can help you pronounce the word in English, I'll do my best to help. Hopefully to make things easier "reckon" it's pronounced like almost saying"wrecking". Making it a rhyme so it's easier to say! Hope that helps!

The kickback from ballistic weapons annoy the crap out of me in this game. The reason is because instead of an animation that moves the MECH...the kickback only moves the camera. The mech..you know the thing that the ballistic weapons is attached to, doesn't move at all.

No, night vision is awful. Looks like crap to me, especially with the flashes from the weapons and when you leave your light on. It washes everything out and not very immersive. Stick with heat vision. Night vision just looks so bad on this end. Night vision just killed this video. I couldn't stand watching the battles. Had to fast forward through those parts. I'm glad you switched to heat.
