Fun fact people don't realize with this mech, it's LBX ammo values are overtuned. A single T of of LB20 ammo = 4T of LB20 ammo AC 20 = 32 shots with 3 shot burst =10.66 more shots per ton = 213 more damage per ton UAC20 = 32 shots with 4 shot burst = 8 more shots per ton damage = 160 damage per ton LBAC20 = 32 shots with 1 round burst = 32 more shots = 640 total damage per ton LB5 2x is another good pick goes out to 720m BUT the skill tree change remove all from cooling and move it to range Take the 4 from laser duration to magazine capacity for 1100 total damage with 1.5 ton of ammo and lbx spread The 3 in range is now 15 with more points to save and more total range 972m Remove everything from cooling it is literally impossible to over hear (even if someone is roasting you with flamers.) and move it to mobility (max going backwards first) Remove coolshot as again you literally can overheat go 2x UAV or put more into speed. Your build before quick is 3.2/6.4 (Sus/Max DPS) vs 8.4/8.4 with 112 shots =1,120 damage per match Also allows you to play dirty up close as you can crit hunt open players with LB's or go with LB20 with 1t of ammo giving you 880 total damage with two heavy medium lasers who again can endlessly fire the LB20 without never overheating and Alpha strike people for 40 damage and just turn off peoples weapons if you sneak up behind them. ALSO you can run the CLAN XL 170 to save .5 t and only lose 6 KPH as it's 1.5 and one heat sink so -1 for the heat sink getting you an extra JJ on your build or probe to counter ECM/shutdown and spot paper dolls from further away.

Very cool! I have been watching a lot of Baradul lately and I realized there is still one type of build I have never seen him use. We have seen many types of mechs built for high damage, but what about high defense? Hear me out guys; the ultimate "wall" build. The biggest, heaviest mech. The most armour plates. The best defensive quirks and skills, with only a minimum of firepower to be effective. Instead of going for a big damage dealt number, let's go for the highest damage received possible! You can do it Baradul! Become "The Wall"!

Check out his Red Reaper Shield build, it's exacly what you're talking about without just Inting (Intentional feeding) enemies free hits from their unlimited ammo lasers.

Nice build! I personally like it better with 2 HLL - less range and longer beam duration but same DPS with less heat and give you space to also put in a couple of MGs.

I do 2 ERPPCs and jump joots on the other Urbie IIC. It's simple, but effective. This is more like my 4 ERLL Kit Fox which is great for peeking over ridges and sniping with. Thanks for the great videos as always! I think this mech will be great to revisit with the upcoming new guns.

this urbie is particularly good with a lbx 20 gun arm also bcs of the ammo quirks applying to lbx 20 due to a purposely ignored bug. (Intended secret feature now.)

I generally advise Urbanmech pilots to run a 170, that extra halfton is frequently useful. Consider a dual binary lascannon on the Urbie with energy hardpoints in the left torso (people like shooting urbie arms) and your RAC build from an earlier video performs better with 3 medlas. The stealth urbie serves well with twin snubs. Just some future ideas for ya from an Urbie main.

Dunno, I would probably try with pulses. Because doing 2 volleys of lasers doubles the duration essentially. Twin pulses and be happy. Its not super high in damage but I would argue having no overheat and a couple of tonns of stuff is worth it. Probably great build for stealth. Twin ER PPCs are definetely fun on smaller mechs with stealth but you have to bbe a deadeye

Pretty much anything is better. 50% HMG ROF, paired with some heavy mediums is what I use. Big damage from a small package.

I hate how bad the visibility is on that first map. I'm sure it's good for the game to have some maps like that but I much prefer being able to see what I want to shoot at!
