That was true Elaine going for the laugh and a great story by a legend about a legend of the theatre sad that they Are both gone now bet they are trying to out belt each other up there still in curlers and furs and having a ball rip

Friends of mine were lucky to attend that birthday concert in London, the bastards. Cook and Stritch did The Grass Is Always Greener (Kander & Ebb) from Woman of the Year.

Hmmm...I "assume" that Elaine was STILL drinking at the time of Barbara's birthday cncert in London...or maybe just a "sugar high". Barbara Cook got incredible reviews for her BARBARA AT 85 event at CARNEGIE HALL. Will definitely get off my ass to get down there for her BARBARA AT 90! etc. by the 5s
