I know exactly what you mean. I had always viewed JImmy Smith as the absolute master of the organ. Then German TV broadcast one of his concerts, I was annoyed because they were spotlighting a young German player as a opening act. Man did my world change in an instant. This opening clip on this video is from that concert. As I watched her play, time slowed down like slow motion. Completely blew me away.

I once read a comment by Steve Winwood, that he preferred to do the bass himself, on pedals, because it allowed him to control the rhythm of his band better than having a bass player does. I wonder if Barbara shares that opinion?

Thanks, no the Hammond is a B3 from the early 1960s, built into a case for easier transport, and in the 1980s she integrated midi technology into her B3.
