Mental health is priceless. It's sad that in her time there really wasn't a great deal of help for people. Perhaps if she'd had some therapy she could have found love, happiness, and contentment. Perhaps if her mother'd had access to mental healthcare she may not have killed herself and heaped that trauma onto her daughter. Maybe if her father'd had family counseling he wouldn't have been such a cold and neglectful father. Now days we have the help, we just can't afford it. So I guess, in a sense, money CAN buy you happiness, in the form of mental healthcare. Just think how much better off our society would be if we all had equal access to healthcare.

Its amazing to see that most cliches have a bit of truth to them, like money can't buy you happiness, money is the root of all evil. Probably like most people I wanted to be rich as a young man, but as an old man money has lost its importance, obviously you need it to survive, but health and basic needs are what's important. New cars, new houses, jewelry, toys, the novelty of owning, stuff, wears off quickly, no matter how much stuff you have, in the end it's just you surrounded by stuff.
