Well, it wasn't her who interviewed Britney... it was Diane Sawyer. and Diane is no Barbara Walters even if she tried to. So maybe Barbara would've extended Britney the same courtesy and demeanor.

Just got through me watching this interview with Barbara Walters again and have a whole new perspective on this this interview. Well I've already pre-ordered Britney spears's new new book you're about to see what happened to their relationship 20 years ago and why they broke up in the very first place. They haven't been together in a very long time but yet they can't escape their past... I'm really hoping that after this book comes out maybe they can both move on

Ugh. 🤮 I can hardly watch this after knowing how he treated Britney. He's such a good person???? Yeah, he's the good guy who cheats on his gf for years, convinces her to get an abortion and when she kisses a guy ONCE, uses the first taste of betrayal he feels to fuel an anti-Britney album and jump start his solo career after dumping her via text. What a dick.

Except, it wasn't just one kiss. Britney's friend and the person who actually composed and co-wrote "Everytime" said their relationship lasted months. And she wrote a letter to break up with Wade, but before she could give it, Justin found it. That's why he got mad, and why *NSYNC (and Britney) fired Wade. Even Wade's girlfriend said she confronted Wade on a separate occasion and he admitted to it and that's why they broke up. A 2008 report (which was overshadowed with all her cuckoo antics) said that she did in fact get pregnant and an abortion. However, it was not when she said she did in her book. It was 2002. And the report said: though it's easy to assume that JT was the father, he wasn't. And her team made her get the abortion. They cited it as one of the reasons why she was so affected with losing custody of her kids. Lastly, take a listen at JC Chasez's "Until Yesterday" song. Justin co-wrote and produced it. It seems that it makes more sense now. Y'all taking Britney's book as gospel, when her mental state has not been credible for years which started during her custody battle with KFed. She acts all sweet and innocent but if you watched their reality show, you'd see glimpses of her true nature. She claimed that she was gonna wait for marriage, and yet...apparently she lost her Vcard at 14!

so since this interview has been referenced so many times... which part exactly did he "shame" Britney or throw her under the bus? Coz I've seen and heard none of that. Even when I remember seeing this before, I remember just the headlines exaggerate it, which they still do.

It’s the question she asks him that leads into him performing parts of an unreleased song with commentary from Barbara about the lyrics of his songs and if they have any real meaning. It’s all what did Britney do how did she break your heart. Poor Justin I heard you cry yourself to sleep every night.
