The sad part of this after listening to Britney's memoir is that I think his mom knew he wasn't that innocent after the breakup fallout with Britney, but I don't believe at the time she knew all that happened. As she says this something in her eyes says "I can tell my son isn't being completely truthful, but I can't ask him because it's his business." Britney speaks of his mom in her memoir as being the sweetest woman and she was always over their house for the holidays instead of her own and when she and Britney's family didn't have enough airfare money for the MMC final casting audition, she gladly paid for it too.

This is really uncomfortable to watch after listening to the audiobook of the Britney's memoir. I could always tell this interview was off for years and thought he wasn't being completely truthful, but I didn't think until I listened to the book that he was not only lying, but playing the victim too. In my heart, it seems like Justin knew he was going to break up with her. Britney said in the Diane Sawyer interview that she was unhappy for a long time in their relationship. We don't know what happened behind closed doors. Justin and Britney were no saints, however no woman deserves to be ridiculed around the nation by her ex. Justin was the biggest jerk to her.

I don't hate either of them. Like every relationship, they both probably messed up in some ways. They loved each other, but, like Justin said, they were young. It was intense. They were also both stars, traveling a lot and there was probably a lot of jealousy. I do think the break up helped Justin's career, but I definitely don't think he had this whole relationship and broke up with her just for the publicity. People seem to forget that Justin's solo career was not like Beyonce in which he immediately exploded w/ the 1st single. For people like us who remember, "Like I Love You" was NOT a hit. It had a very lukewarm reception & he was criticized for copying MJ (which he of course denied; seeing a pattern here?) His album debuted at #2 & sold less than half of NSYNC's album, which came out just a year before. It wasn't until "Cry Me A River" + talking about Britney til people started to pay attention

honestly, i think the break-up between britney and justin is what made her who she is today, i think something terribly went wrong, like someone in the relationship did something, not just the fact that they fell out of love, there was a reason. I think the break-up between them is what made her crazy, i seriously think thats why her life is the it is. I think she turned depress after they broke up, and she just didn't care anymore. Every singer goes through pain and they all write songs about it because that's their way of releasing their pain. What can they do? Go talk to their friends? They can't because papparazzi are always on their backs. They can't do anything a normal person would do to release pain so that's the only way he could release. Besides, why doesn't anyone criticize the songs she wrote about him huh? And besides no one even STILL IN 2014 knows the real reason why they broke up. Some say he cheated so she cheated back, Some say it was only her, Some say she only flirted.. Us fans only know what the media releases. How do we possibly know that his life was easy? How do we know what he has been through? Not everything big has to affect people. Small things such as loosing a pet or something can scar us emotionally forever. So before we know our facts straight we shouldn't judge them. Oh and then again, We have other celebrities such as Taylor Swift (Not judging her I love her too) Practically all her songs are about her breakups and she knows it too. But yet she's still #1 In the music industry. But if this poor guy actually wrote a song about her but didn't directly point it towards her doesn't make him a bad person. And If he was a horrible person he wouldn't say that he will always be there for her. As a friend or not but will always help her if she needs it. Breakups hurt even if your rich or poor love isn't ever classified as RICH OR POOR. So all breakups feel the same.
