All these multiversal counterparts of the same character working together as a collective kind of reminds me of "the Council of Reeds". But this is a great way for DC to make their "Elsewhere" stories have actual impact on the mainstream DCU.

Couldn't agree more. Metal has been one of the best books out right now. Its an insane story, but they've been handling it correctly, almost from start to finish.

Its gonna be super weird. They're going to have a hard time looking him in the eye. This is probably the most messed up thing he's done since Tower of Babel, which is technically worse, but he did a lot of lying and hiding things.

Thanks for subbing! I hope you're enjoying everything! As for the Metal antagonist, Barbatos, I know a lot of people who pronounce it the way you said. Other channels, especially. The only reason I don't is because I'm somewhat familiar with the tale of Barbatos in folklore, and that one is pronounced Bar-batos. Since that's where Snyder got his inspiration for the character I just ran with that one instead. I don't really think there is a right or a wrong way. I say pronounce it how you feel. Every now and then you may hear me say it the other way, too 😄

Suggestion: what about old Dick Tracy comic stips, or the Phantom, or the Shadow, or Flash Gordon?. I mean i have almost no idea about them, but it could be a different kind of video since they influence the original version of modern superheroes. Dunno, just a thought, maybe some others mighty subscribers could find that interesting as well.

I may take a look at The Shadow and the Phantom. Dick Tracy had a hard time keeping my attention. I don't think I ever read any of the old Flash Gordon, but I'll throw it on the list, too!

Dark Knights Metal seems to be a Batman fanboy's story about alternate versions of Batman vs the Justice League. All these different versions of Batman beat the League because they have tons of prep time. Some of this is becoming predictable and that's sad ....

+Esa Ande I think prep time is Batman's super power as of the last 10 years. Most of them used prep, minus Dawnbreaker and The Merciless. They killed their opponents straight up. Dawnbreaker is the oddball though. Since he got the ring, Hal Jordan never did. But I can definitely understand your reservations. Batman is probably the most beloved and overhyped hero since 1980's Superman and 1990's Wolverine.
