Spraying the graphite black over the silver gave it more of a reflective chrome finish

You should test the clear paints over a gloss white. You can get some really nice really bright almost glowing colour that way.

Very nice! Those are good colors, but the star of the show is Tamiya Gunmetal. I spray candys a fair amount and I'll pick up that gunmetal for sure. I really like the effect and I get something similar, but now I can skip a step. Great!

I am putting a Guntank together right now, and that Graphite would be *perfect* for all the metal/grey colours on him, like the tracks and roadwheels, his arms and shoulder cannons. Going to picking some up for sure.

Sorry for a noob question, Tamiya X-10 is an acrylic right? Is it okay if i spray laquer on top of it? Will it crack or eat the base?

The Tamiya is an Acrylic Lacquer, it's actually a solvent based paint so you won't have a problem

Not familiar with Mr color but what does the gx stand for lacquer. Enamel. Acrylic

The whole line is lacquer. Mr Color is the lacquer line. GX is just a color line within the line. They're acrylic line similar to Tamiya's is called Aqueous

I really agree, I love the gunmetal on those two colors, but I REALLY prefer the "LP70" with the red. I like that brighter more "purple" tone. Did I hear any mispronounceations or did you not do the green in the "LP70"?

I think they're close. I have the anniversary line, I love those colors. Previous Silver is a favorite of mine

Has you tested the new Holo Gundam markers yet? I haven't done anything but mark the strait over bare plastic yet but they look fantastic. I really want to see them sprayed over other colors. But the weather over hear isn't good for that outdoors yet and I don't have anyplace indoors to work.

I know this is an old video but I hope you see this and provide some answers I am having a hard time mixing Mr.Clear Color GX 105 Clear Pink……for some odd reason its not mixing well with the thinner (the paint tends to clump together no matter what type of thinner I use) I could really use some assistance, please!!!!

From all of the videos that I’ve watched of his he uses Mr Hobby Leveling Thinner a lot of the time. I heard him say that 50/50 is a good starting point with a lot of the colors and paints.
