The fast feed fully zero gapped flush does not cut clients skin with the orginal fast feed blade. I had mine gapped flush but not overlapping and will take the trimmer line out pretty good. Never once did it cut anybody. The corded seniors will snag if too close , haven't tried the Babyliss fully gapped. I also has blade set like this by accident once with my masters. It faded flawlessly and you get a combination of a more closer blade on one side and then being able to use a full #1 when fully open on the other side of the blade. It works great in my experience. I also had zero gapped even blades but it just a matter of choice. But that uneven blade blends very smooth if you know how to blend with it. Trust me

This almost happened to me I dropped my trimmer and the holding blade broke. Thank god I checked before lining my client up I would have seriously injured him. Great advice always check your blade if you drop your tools

Any decent clipper knocks the line out if they are zero gapped. It's too easy. Thank God Barber school takes so long and is so expensive. I do like the Gamma Ergo...nice and quiet. I admire the creativity here though. Blurry lil fade dog.

Lowkey need to try this tomarrow. But I just hate the babyliss clipper lol. But I use my magic clips to get all my skin lines and then take every single line out. I almost never gotta go back with the trimmer

I like how you always go back to detailing, instead of like the rest of these barbers who blend, but don’t detail a lil more.

That same thing happened to my last pair of standard clippers. They fell on one side, and it was some how cut sharper on one side. I was looking for this exact kind of video to try and get my new set of clips to cut like that. Thank you fam

Yo bro can you make a video explaining the reason to have multiple clippers and what do use them for ? An example my teacher tells me to have atleast 3-4 clippers by the time i finish school for different things, and to have 4-5 trimmers for different purposes and idk what he means by that. My list so far: Magic clips (close to being 0 gapped) - for blending tapers and detail work Babyliss Black fx (regular/ how they came in the box) - for setting guidelines and for blending fades Got some stylecraft mythics coming tommorow 😁😁😁 Trimmers Babyliss chameleon fx (0 gapped) Babyliss silver fx (close to being 0 gapped not all the way tho Kiss by red CT11 (not 0 gapped) Why should i have one zero gapped and one not zero gapped
@562daniel Жыл бұрын
Reason for multiples is incase one dies or dosent get rid of a guideline or just breaks

For trimmers u need a deep tooth one (debulking) and fine tooth (line ups). For clippers u need a debulking one (high power) and a fading one

I know barbers that have been cutting for 20+ years and they dont zero gap any of their clippers or trimmers it isnt always necessary if so they would sell them zero gapped
@gotnitro43292 жыл бұрын
@@dmiller6134 I’ve been cutting my hair for a couple months and I can agree it’s not necessary. I have one pair of clippers zero gapped and one not. It only makes sense to zero gap your clippers to take that bottom skin line out. But I did notice that I can’t move the lever all the way closed on my zero gapped clippers without cutting into my guards. That being said I only fade with my non zero gapped and use the zero gapped clippers for bottom line.

This I guess you can call angular gapping. But you can do something called 45 degree to 45degeee with a pull up with your fingers on the area you are trying to lighten up. I see that your style already does 45/45 so just the thumb over the area And it's gone.

Nothing nothing but just makes no sense. You don’t have to make it uneven. All you have to do is open the notch if you want the hair to be a little bit longer. Instead of doing the right side and the left side of the blade. Close the blade to take out the line. And then open it you’ll get the same length it’s on the other side of the blade. Very strange
