Thanks, Graeme! Pahaha! Yes, women at a blues gig, who'd have thought it?! I knew someone would comment on the apparent size difference and I knew it might be you! The answer is neither! It's an angled stage and a wide angle lens. The bassist is about 5 feet closer to the lens than I am, though it's a bit of an optical illusion on camera. You'll notice I gained about a foot of height when I came to the front to solo. I'm not tall, about 5'11 and Pat is about 6'3 I reckon. I'm quite wide though, which might make me seem even shorter! I weigh about 225. If you stand at the edge of the frame with a wide angle you'll be huge by comparison to someone in the middle of the shot. Have a look at the Guthrie Kennard video again. You'll notice I'm roughly the same height as the rest of the band...but they're on the stage and I'm not! It's just because I was at the edge of the frame, otherwise they'd have to be a band of blues midgets! Yeh, good video. It really pertained to full disclosure which was basically part of mine. In The Blue's video, said that if you've received a product you should say, which I totally agree with. I just felt it actually goes further than that and that receiving a product that you don't keep, or even wanting to work with companies could potentially influence what you say. Not to mention fear of the comments section, which is something I didn't talk about in that video. If you want to save yourself from a hard time, you may choose to omit a lot of things that might have been good information for people. I know that I have a couple of videos where I voiced any kind of opinion that wasn't completely positive and have had nothing but pure hate from it.
