@@nenamoreno when using the Qtip method use pomade especially at the ends to avoid frizz. It works best when you have a setting solution be it cream or liquid. It will work with just water in a spray bottle but with the setting solution there's a lot less frizz,breakage,and the curls stay curled longer. Oh the smaller the sections the tighter the curls. Also a protective hair cap will ensure no snags. Sorry this is soo long I hope this will be of use to you as an alternative curling method
