Thanks for providing the UPC. It really helped me find the doll. I had to go to 6 different Targets, but I finally found her. She was already sold out before the release date of January 12. Only two had her, but only one would sell her before the 12th. For those still looking, there are some stores that are releasing the doll on the 12th only.

You were very, very lucky to find this Steffie mold Midge! 🍀None of the Targets in the Chicago & surrounding Northwest suburbs have her. 😢 A friend of mine & I went to 12 Targets between us,but no joy. I’m hoping she’ll show up eventually though, because I really love Midge! 💗🥰

UPDATE! I did find her last night at Target & she was the last one in Chicago Northwestern Suburbs region! I came back to watch your video again so I could see how to unbox & save Midge’s box. On 2nd viewing it looks to me as if her sculpt has more definition than either of the previously produced Midges you showed. It looks to me as if Mattel used a fresh vintage 1971 Steffie mold in manufacturing, which I love! But like you, I really hope that the “Chase” dolls don’t become a continuing Mattel marketing ploy. I visited so many Targets in my area that I’ve lost count. If Midge weren’t my absolute favorite character since childhood, I wouldn’t have put myself through this craziness. 🤪

She is pretty. I'll keep an eye out for her. Something I noticed with the Life in the Dreamhouse dolls, all of their heads seemed a little bigger than the rest of the dolls on the shelf. I was happy to see Midge, but didn't get her. I look forward to seeing how you restyle this one. It's okay to step back, take a break, and recharge. ❤

I'm not a fan of the dress either but she's beautiful. I always love a Midge and a redhead. The Deluxe Style line has been delivering, this is the kind of stuff we wanted to see from Mattel. I will have to hunt for her but I don't have much luck with the type of people that live around me, everything is wiped.

Right now until the 12th you’ll only have luck scanning her with the in-store mounted scanners that are red in target or on the handheld scanners the employees carry

The face mold is Steffie, but the same face mold was also used for the life in the dreamhouse midge character doll, with a very similar screening so that’s why people are calling her midge.
