Omg that scene got me crying so damn much. I was thinking about my own montage of all my aunts, grandmothers, cousins, friends and my Mom. All the females in my life that supported me, love me. Ugh the feels!

I saw this clip on Tik tok and was CRYING when you mentioned the montage scene. When I saw Barbie I bawled at that scene knowing Kimberly is now forever memorialized in a beautiful tribute to all women. I hope she’s smiling, knowing that fact💕

For me the montage part felt really warm and human, when Ruth said to Barbie that she needed to feel my first thought was “how is she going to portray being a woman?” I wasn’t expecting the montage at all, but I’m really glad it was included because it made sense🤍

I look at the purity of the interviewer talking about his friend and making Greta Gerwig tear up. Then you compare that to the toxicity and manufactured outrage online. Accusing this film of hate is just complete projection at this point.

She *is* Frances Ha.

She literally went from the film-version of a dancer (an actor) to become the film-version of a choreographer (a director). The main difference is, though, Greta always wanted to direct.

What a great moment you had with Greta, Andrew. I’m so glad you were able to tell her that in person. I got emotional as well 🥹 And it’s incredible that because they didn’t allow her to put all the names, she got to include those home videos in the movie as a thank you to all the people who worked there. What a great gesture 😊🩷

I heard she wanted to direct Oppenheimer with a female lead??? However she declined, because the studio wanted to call it, 'OPPENWHINER'!!!!!!!!!
