Extra Fly Ken is giving me Retro Beach Boy Vibes, and I'm so happy that we get a Ken Doll with rooted hair. However, I somewhat prefer sculpted hair. Which is just my personal opinion.

If you're going to try fussy cutting tiny details like that, you need to try a pair of Tim Holtz Micro Serrated scissors - they are incredible. I'm a card maker and used to hate hand cutting because it never looked neat, but now I'll even trim up my die cuts. They are also the absolute best scissors for trimming doll hair: the little serrations grab a hold of the hairs so you can get the straightest cuts.

I love the Barbie's cover! The color combination is awesome, and I love the tropical flowers. Her swimsuit is also cute, but I would have preferred it to be one of the two patterns rather than both. They should have given us two swimsuits lol And Ken's towel is awesome! Those mini 3D Barbies are so awesome! Great job!

Ken is my favorite! I think it's because he seems the most put together... Simple but matching well. And rooted hair! Barbie seems to be trying too hard, it is uncomfortable. Plastic hat T_T ... I really hate the EXTRA on the skirt and towel the belt is fine. The orang necklace is iffy too.

Hey toya big fan, I know that u are not a big fan of pixelated dolls so I've got a tip. U can cover the pixelated parts of the with some matte modpodge. It will not be perfect but u can still get rid of some of the pixelation .

Great video! I got that Ken Extra a few weeks ago and LOVE him. Once you get the product out of his hair, he’s perfect (and frankly more fun than that super expensive Ken in the recent BarbieStyle B/K set). Love his outfit and accessories, too. Mattel, more Ken Extras, please!
