I usually just clip the earrings as close to the doll as possible while pulling it taut. They come off with enough of the bar that you can use them elsewhere. Just push the little nib that remains back into the head. I personally can't wait for the pink extra-fancy, but the blue floral looks like my kind of extra. I'm going to be broke when Jane Goodall and the new Looks dolls come out.

As a collector I could see why some don't do that but if it's a doll for a kid or someone who doesn't collect they can do that as long as it's not any older doll or one worth quite a bit of money.

I heat the head then I can remove the earrings and trim off the hook without losing any length, I would just like to see them designed to be removed 💕

Here's a suggestion on the Barbie pets. Use them as stuffies in your settings. Use other things you like better as pets. I personally love making needle felted animals as pets.

If you pull the earring out and cut it off close to the dolls head, when you remove the head the end of the earring should pop out and you have removable earrings ✨

I disagree. While I like the made to move body when you have clothes that fully cover tbe joints, the articulation on these dolls displays much better for short sleaves and dresses. I am glad to have both and the choice.
