Mattel has always been multiculti since the 80's with Christie, PJ, Teresa, Kira, Whitney, Midge and so on, but in the past quality and care for details was so way better ❤ then the cheap stuff of today! Missing so much those old good days!

Most normal (read: non-collector) adults aren't buying a lot of these dolls for their kids, though. the economy is bad; plus their prices fluctuate so much, it's a challenge to get them at a decent price.

I'm not sure about curvy but would love to see a "big and tall" (I guess that would be the equivalent?) but they oddly seem to keep making the "impossibly skinny" Ken and I have to keep using the clothes on the tall Barbie instead of a MTM Ken doll. At least the MTM Ken is bigger...but most of the fashionista Ken pants and Ken fashion packs don't fit so I have to keep looking for the jogger pants or shorts packs for them (am I the only one with this issue...maybe I'm not looking in the right places for the clothing lol).

I'm really impressed by this doll line. And I love the articulation. I was starting to not like the barbie line since they took away the bend and snap knee's. But this line just made me very very happy. And I'm really happy with the new kens. Because I need more guy dolls

Love these new dolls. I've always loved the Barbie dolls. Couldn't get any other dolls. Because my mom worked at Mattel's. But we got dolls before the they went to the store for the public. Normally young kids tend to be too rough on collector dolls (I'm particularly thinking of those delicate ankle joints when changing shoes *winces*); but in this case, the doll resembles her; plus I think kids get a lot more out of their doll playing sessions when the dolls are better able to imitate their creative imaginations. :)

I know this video is a year old but I'm hoping for some sort of help. I have the Victoria doll with white blonde hair. I want to swap her to a standard sized made to move body but need help with which made to move is most suited to her skin tone. The fact shes currently a tall made to move makes getting clothes to fit annoying. I was think the purple DHL84 yoga made to move but I'm not 100% sure

Beautiful! I finally got one of them from a preorder on Saturday (Victoria doll) and am in love. My preorder of Jon keeps getting pushed back (grr) and still waiting on the August shipment from Mattel for the rest. The only one I didn't preorder is Elle (I have zero luck with incorporating the curvy girls into my collection, have tried several times and its like Odd Thomas and the sweater vest) but seeing Elle's face up close I'm having serious regrets. She has to be the prettiest face Mattel has come out with...those lips are to die for. Going to keep an eye out for her to go on preorder again or to finally be on sale somewhere. Well done Mattel you are listening and reasonably priced. But it would be nice for white dolls to have a range of hair colours. We never see medium blonde hair or light brown hair. Hopefully we see it in the next lot of dolls 😊
