Thanks for your review, the skin tone matches, and the clothing swaps. I think they look better in the outfits you swapped out. I was most excited about the black Ken, but now I think the black Barbie is my favorite. But I've ordered and want them all!

I just ordered the pretty Petite 2x and the Ken with dark skin (just love this guy!!). Maybe I'll order the others later when they come to amazon Europe. What really is odd that they are so hard to get and come to Europe sooooo late! I only could order the Petite from amazon so far, I ordered the black guy from the US (the prices, ouch).

Someone said the next wave is going to be silvery. Don't expect this line to go on for years because look what happened to the Basics - LBD, denim, swim suits, gone. Everyone loved that line. I hope it does go on but I won't hold my breath. Look at images of the 5th Dimension singing group of the 60s - there were 5 of them and they used the same fabrics in different ways and each of their outfits was different. They could do that here (this is one version of how it can work).

This video is great. I have the BMR tall girl and the barbie looks blonde and the skin tones are definitely different. Looks girl has pinker and paler skin vs slightly darker but still very pale and a bit yellower toned BMR. I just had to figure that out for a recent repaint lol

Aha! I have been noticing some of the recent releases of mtm dolls and others have these in between skin tones that don't quite match others but can get away with it in pics. I wonder why they're doing this? Maybe to prove how diverse the dolls are now? Is it possible to be TOO diverse? 🤣

That tall blonde doll is everything! I also love the Afro girl. The face that I think the prettiest is the Asian doll but I do not like that short hairstyle. I wish they'd have given her very long hair, she'd have looked really spectacular then, so pretty. I expect it will be a bit of a wait until they become available in the UK though.
