One of the best parts of this movie was the amount of people it brought to my local cinema, so much pink, in boys and girls and friends, everyone just excited for the movie. It's a barbie movie to have fun with, but also to ponder on, in between visions of pink and glitter💖

I took my granddaughter who is 10 to see this movie. I was so entertained. It was like we were watching two different films because some of the humor was appropriate for her and some for me. We made a date to go see it every 3 years to see how much more she laughs at. The director is brilliant. I loved the references to America's political work and her actual husband being in the movie. I am so impressed. I hope to work with these folks one day.

This is a great idea!!! I think it would be super interesting to see how she feels about the movie every few years! Barbie was a MASSIVE part of my childhood as a 30 year old, and honestly this movie made me happy to think about the children who watch it and see Barbie a little differently than I did when I was a kid :) It’s really nice that the director took into account my generation and the generations before me’s view of Barbie, while also acknowledging that times have changed and Barbie has to as well in this film. It’s a really a deep concept for a Barbie film and I can really appreciate that, fantastic film making and script writing :)

@@thetwitchywitchy I agree. I have to be honest. All of my Barbies are from the signature series. I only recently started buying them for myself. As a little girl I would chew the feet. My daughter did the same and so did her daughters. We discussed the movie and I explained some of the references to her my Granddaughter because she wanted to know why I was laughing so hard. A couple of times I practically screamed. Especially when Issa Rae turned into Samuel L Jackson momentarily. hahaha I am seriously so impressed with Gretas vision and how she did this film. Her skills are off the charts. I am looking at this from the eyes of a consumer, (A Granny) an actress and a filmmaker. 5 stars all the way across the board.

10/10 i really laughed the whole movie. It becomes just awesome when you embrace stupidity of some things😂 The final fight just killed me. I am really picky to movies and this one nailed it.
