@cestoz About a lowkey underrated actor. He's had a lot of success and gained recognition for The Notebook, but it seems like Barbie really put him in the spotlight as being so much more than a romantic rain-soaked chick flick dude. He's the best Ken that ever Kenned and so many of us doubted his casting until we saw the movie. Then we were like "I'm sorry I ever doubted him!" Even months later, he is still playing the perfect Ken.

[Verse 1] Doesn't seem to matter what I do I'm always number two No one knows how hard I tried, oh-oh, I I have feelings that I can't explain Drivin' me insane All my life, been so polite But I'll sleep alone tonight [Chorus] 'Cause I'm just Ken Anywhere else, I'd be a ten Is it my destiny to live and die a life of blond fragility? I'm just Ken Where I see love, she sees a friend What will it take for her to see the man behind the tan and fight for me? [Verse 2] I wanna know what it's like to love To be the real thing Is it a crime? Am I not hot when I'm in my feelings? And is my moment finally here, or am I dreaming? I'm no dreamer [Chorus] I'm just Ken Anywhere else, I'd be a ten Is it my destiny to live and die a life of blond fragility? I'm just Ken Where I see love, she sees a friend What will it take for her to see the man behind the tan and fight for me? [Outro] I'm just Ken (And I'm enough) And I'm great at doing stuff So, hey, check me out, yeah, I'm just Ken My name's Ken (And so am I) Put that manly hand in mine So, hey, world, check me out, yeah, I'm just Ken Baby, I'm just Ken Merry Christmas Barbie, wherever you are. (outro video) Can you feel the Ken-ergy? Feels so real, my Ken-ergy Can you feel the Ken-ergy? Feels so real, my Ken-ergy taken from genius.com

If he doesn't win a ton of awards for his role in Barbie, I'm going to be so disappointed. Just a golden portrayal of a character and he added so much to it!

I think I'm just Ken should win for best song because how often do you have an actor sing an original song written for a movie that's ends up like a sleeper hit. It's cool that I'm just Ken has gained this level of popularity.

Something that needs to be said here is the incredible live performance that this is by Ryan and Mark and band it's great.
@Allie856711 ай бұрын
Agree Britt…. Another example of this this year is in the movie Flora and Son Eve Hewson acts and sings the two songs that are on the short list for an Oscar nomination . Meet me in the Middle and High Life She’s a great actress with a beautiful singing voice too. (Well she is Bono’s daughter). Both these songs deserve Oscar nominations too for Best Song
