I get so caught up in getting caught up that I forget to comment. I seriously hope I don't catch up because I could watch BARBIENATION for hours. I feel so blessed, I could not have had you come into my life at a more valuable time. The loss of my precious son May 01/ 2022 has been the most terrible days in my life. He was my only child and born in 1982. I imagine that he around your age. Thank you for your wonderful and poignant words to the wonderful Mr. Andrew. They resonated with me. I have just come out of shock, unfamiliar territory. I had my only child quite young, he was my world. I too am from Canada Land on the other coast. Vancouver Island British Columbia. So sorry for your loss, my daughter was born in 81, can't imagine the loss of either of my kids. I laughed, I cried, I was so moved with such kindness from Andrew. Faith in humanity restored!!! I’m from Saskatchewan (Canada) and I don’t think many people realize what a treasure the Tim Horton’s Barbie is. Tim Horton’s is a Canadian coffee/tea, donuts, and sandwich chain similar to Starbucks. Hockey (and Tim Horton’s) is huge in Canada, and the Toronto Maple Leafs are a beloved hockey team to many Canadians. Tessa Virtue is a medal winning Canadian Olympic figure skater - along with her dance skating partner, and that doll is beautiful! The chocolate coins are loonies, and the big one is a toonie. Plus the Timmy’s coffee, and all the treats…WOW! It was an awesome Canadian treasure box - great stuff Andrew! And all the beautiful Mod dolls…WOW! Such generosity from one person. I was in awe of the BEAUTIFUL Mod Barbies you received. I have always wanted the set of the three Mod friends. What a treasure. I did buy the Becky set when it came out, in fact, I got it marked down in price. I didn't get a second one, lucky you, so I opened my set and played dressing her up. That was such fun. I have heard of the bangless Francie on the Silkstone body, she is lovely. Though, I do prefer her with bangs. I have several of the originals, and that's how I knew her best anyway. I have enjoyed many of your podcasts, and have subscribed to this to receive more. I have probably been collecting Barbie and family since before you were born. Since I got my first one at age 3, the original 9 inch Skipper, and that was in 1965. Yes, I still have her. @@Barbination ❤️ one of my strengths or should I say abilities since I arrived into this world 👀😀is how sensitive I am to feeling and reading people's energy.... And that also means everything from good to bad +..it's blessing but at the same time a challenge.. Specifically more when my oldest daughter soon becomes a teenager 🙊 ofc I want my daughters to live and learn through their own experience on how to navigate themselves through life. On the other side it's also a lot of people or experiences in this world that's completely unnecessary and people we shouldn't expose ourselves to. So whenever I have felt the need to talk with my oldest daughter and explain that I am only trying to protect her from experience something bad.. Or be exposed to someone bad.. Those situations have been really challenging because WHY would or should?! she listen to me when nothing has ever happened or nobody has done anything wrong and even more confusing/frustrating for her when I also many times haven't meet or seen the people I want to protect her from and avoid situations to occur that never have happened before or even been a situation in the past... So to explain in other words and a short sentence "how could I get my daughter to follow advice and take my words seriously when every word only sounded like I was going even more insane🤯🧘‍♀️🗣️" 🤣Anyways after having her own experiences that confirmed that her mom was definitely weird but not going completely insane and also having her grandmother/my mom telling her several stories regarding me saying weird things 🤣but also that even though she is 60 years old and my mother she always listen whenever I got vibes about someone or something she always trust that regardless how wrong it might seems to her at the time,. Anyways this became a whole book 🙊🙈 I am so sorry, 🙏❤️ my whole point about it was that I really meant every word, because I just know and feel it so strongly how pure gentle and kind heart and soul you have 💞 your beauty outside is truly a reflection on your beauty within ❤️that is simply a fact❤️ sending you and your husband and your whole family a lot of love and hugs from myself in Norway 🇳🇴🤗😍

Growing up I had the "mod" friends. Except for Christie. She was harder to find back then. The dolls I did have were Francie, Stacey, Casey, and PJ as well as Barbie and Ken. I also had the littlest sister Tutti, which was one of my favorites because her arms and legs would bend and she could sit, kneel and so forth because of the wires in her body. Of course I had Skipper as well. 🙂

Wow this was a lovely video. Its wonderful how an iconic doll brings so many people together and form special friendships because of one doll. Andrew is a lovely man for gifting you with such lovely dolls. I went through a very dark period in my life when I was completely alone no friends or family and then discovered I had a tumour, I came across a Barbie I had when I was doing some cleaning that I had started rerooting with human hair (before I knew its what it was called or that many people actually did it I finished her and from then on many others followed, didn't feel alone anymore and have rerooted quiet a few and got plenty of the dolls my sister and I had as kids sparked creation in me and then KZbin opened the world of collecting, rerooting, crafting and the amazing content creators like yourself. Arjen you are one of a kind and best wishes to you and your loved ones your pooch is sooooo adorable and sweet. Hello! I am not sure you will read this but I would like to share my story with you. I am From a small town in Mississippi USA. Boys playing with dolls was not something that you did when I was growing up. I can remember playing with my cousins Barbie’s when I would travel to their house. One day I went over to play and all the dolls where gone. I guess they found out that I was playing with the dolls and they hid them from me. You can imagine how devastated I was. I guess they thought boys playing with their dolls was not going to happen. Well when I had my Daugther I thought I could re kindle that love. Well, she hated playing with dolls. So I put the dolls away in the attic in hopes that her Daugther would enjoying play with Barbie’s. A couple of months ago I got them down and my grand baby loved them. I was so excited. So now I have enjoyed playing with my baby. We play for hours. I don’t have to hide in the closet and play with Barbie without the fear of getting caught or feeling embarrassed. Most of this has to do with you. Thanks for saying its ok for me to. Play with Barbie even if my grand baby is not here. My husband is so supportive. In two months I have increased our collection to 30 dolls. We cant go anywhere without me not buying a Barbie or a Barbie related item. Thank you Barbination.
