P.J. was always my favorite and I still have my P.J. girl that I bought second hand years ago. When I was 15 my mother made me give all my Barbie and Littlechap dolls to my sisters. I didn't want to but she said I should, I did, they trashed them and I had nothing to give my daughter when she was born. Since the birth of my daughter I started collecting off and on and have most of the dolls I had when I was little including Barbies twin sister and brother Tutti and Todd. For me they are my good memories of my past and they were my escape of the past nightmares of childhood. I had stopped collecting after my granddaughter lost interest and in the last year and a half I have purchased many barbie dolls. Like you I give them makeovers and display them. They bring me joy and nostalgia. My friends don't understand but my husband is amazed at how well I have kept up and cared for them. My husband shows his friends with little girls my dolls sometimes and I am grateful he has never discouraged or embarrassed me about it. My husband accepts my hobby and knows that our youngest granddaughter loves to see and play with some of the barbies. It is fun to do barbies with my granddaughter and I love your videos that have helped me to accept that at my age(65) I can still love dolls and sharing them. Thank you for your creativity and sharing your love of dolls, it has helped me emotionally more than I can ever say. Keep up the great work, I love your style and spirit!!! Another amazing video! Mattel has declared that the initials P.J.™ don't stand for anything, that it is simply the character's name. PJ Dolls were introduced in 1969 when Barbie's Friend Midge received a makeover and a new name. Using the same Midge face and head mold, PJ was more hip and mod than Midge. Thanks to Angela, Debi and Marion for providing the dolls, etc! 💕

There is little else I can add having read the comments below. Malibu Barbie was the last childhood Barbie Doll I wanted before becoming too old for dolls only later to give all my dolls away. I really never thought that they would ever interest me again. Shows what I knew!! It is like watching a child opening Christmas Gifts when you receive your Fan Mail. Such a genuine joyful reaction truly takes me back to my happy childhood days growing up with Barbie. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

Some time you have to wait for curls to set. It may take two days for them to completely dry. Don't use heat on the prosser after the boil dip. Don't ring out the curls. Leave in front of a light blowing fan. # 1 most importantly make shure the curls are completely dry all the way. Threw and threw. Perfection takes time lovey.

Thank you for all you do . Yes , Japan is the land of kawai that's why all my clothes come from there . So do the few dolls I have which are Middie Blythes . If I can't find what I want locally , I use the services of Tenshi shop . Never had any problems . And these biscuits are delicious . I bought them quite a few times . They are very similar to what we have in France called Langues de Chat .

Haha I have to agree with Angela....I find Licca and her stiff rococó outfits (and some alike dolls) as if they were knockoffs....but it can be me. I`d rather a doll in a similar (non affordable) range from Integrity Toys, for instance, instead. Cool video.
