Some truly great players you've listed, but what's lost on people like yourself and others is that a lot of the players Cruijff played with were arguably the best in their position at the time. Rudi Krol was on an equal footing to Franz Beckenbauer. Suurbier was the best right back on the planet. Neeskens was and arguably to this day the greatest box-to-box midfielder. Rensenbrink was so good he left Kiezer (regarded at the time as Ajax's greatest players before universal acclaim for Cruijff) on the bench for Nederlands. Willem Van Hanegem was possibly the best midfielder at the time. What I'm getting at is, don't buy all in on Cruijff, he was fortunate to play with equally world-class player's.
