This man is the perfect player… Perfect striker. Dribbling 2, 3, 4 men before scoring… great pace, strength, balance, ball control and agility. Even scoring sense is top notch… nowadays you don’t see player with this scoring ability. Can score bunch of goals with each side of his foot🤦🏽‍♂️ I don’t know why he isn’t recognized much.. He should be among the top 5 best player in history. I prefer him to maradona… I never watched both of them played but with all the clips I’d found on the net I prefer Rummenigge❤ Even those days the football is more than thrice heavier than todays footballs.

I agree so much to the point where I cringe whenever I hear someone say "Rummenigge doesn't deserve to be so OP in game!" A 2 time Ballon d'Or winner and they say he doesn't deserve to be amazing? He was almost exactly the same in real life as PES. Quick, tenacious, nimble, scored long shots and finishes like the keeper didn't exist, amazing dribbler, good on both feet, with his head. Do I need to keep going?

Okay people he was similar to Cristiano Ronaldo good with both legs, good headers, good volleys but much better dribbler, fast and his style was running with the ball straight from point A to point B, shoot and celebrate. Looks easy in theory and it looks simple but no one can do it like that with no step over, nothing fancy he just means business. I’ll put him above current Lewandowski and on par with 2012-13 Cristiano Ronaldo. A very rare player indeed.

@@mutongoria l have seen several clips and two of his best goals are missing ,both in german League between 1979 1982 .The first he was at 16 m after a cross from right wing ,stopped the ball with the chest hit the ball with the right foot on the right angle of the goal .The other one after a long pass he hit the ball on the air without touching the ground ,25 m of distance ,the ball slipped on the grass to the net .
