Ricordo ancora quel gol al Chelsea a Stamford Bridge con un contropiede perfetto; a marcarlo c'era Terry che gli stava attaccato dietro come un toro, eppure lui non si scompose nè provò a buttarsi a terra, ma andò dritto in porta e con una freddezza senza pari punì Cech e decise la qualificazione. Altro gran ricordo che ho di lui è quel doppio confronto contro la sua ex squadra, il Barcellona. Decise di aiutare la squadra invece di essere lui il protagonista e si sacrificò anche in difesa, sopratutto al Camp Nou, dove l'Inter rimase in 10. Trovatemelo oggi uno che snatura anche il suo gioco per adattarsi alla fase difensiva e aiutare la squadra, non lo fa nessuno, neanche Lewandoski. L'ultimo è stato Mandzukic alla Juventus nella stagione 2016-17, ma non ha raggiunto gli stessi livelli di Eto'o.
