From my observation, at 17:53 Gabriela not only held that position but she poured 100% of resistance strength to make that pin. Which is pretty incredible. It makes sense that the amount of energy she expended there in her arm ended up sacrificing power for the rounds after. But I’m still stunned by that pin. That was *raw* might. Honestly, Gabriella was my personal overall winner already from the very first 2 pins. I knew the power that Barbora wields, so I was aware that she's favourite to win from the get-go. But noticing the effort that Gabby had to put in to defeat an opponent who's younger, ambitious, taller, has a suitable body frame & with an obvious leverage advantage because of longer forearm, is very commendable IMO. So, I was rooting for her quite hard. But nevertheless, congrats to the young champion, Barbora. Gabriella is still a legend and a champion in my eyes and heart. 👑
