This is land recently stolen from the Barbudan people, spearheaded by Robert Dinero, after greasing the palms of the "appropriate" politicians, to take advantage of the damage created by a 2017 hurricane that wiped out most of the island. Now, most Barbudans, can no longer afford to go to these, now privately owned beaches, that only a few years ago was their homeland, owned by the people. They are also obligated to buy back land that they already had homes on, before the hurricane. Land that was already rightfully theirs. Because the government couldn't allow those greedy Hollywood moguls to buy up all the best beaches, as long as the Barbudan people were the rightfully owners of the whole island. So the government took it back from the people, and now it's all up for grabs. Soon enough, if it's not already, Barbuda will be a place that only the wealthy can afford to even go to, let alone there. All thanks to Robert Dinero, and his greedy Hollywood investor buddies.
