I am always against going back for a player who outright declined our offer, but I just want to say that we definitely need a winger as versatile as Nico. Against Sociedad, he covered both wings extremely well and I wouldn't be mad if Barca went back in for him, as he is a reasonably priced option. With absentees like Lamine, Nico would cover his position well and swap positions with Raphinha throughout the game to keep opponents guessing, I wouldn't be against seeing that play out.

I watched the Real game yesterday. One thing I would like to highlight is the way they play. Whenever Real scores first, against low tier or mid tier team, I know they will not lose and they guarantee the three points. Despite even scoring one goal, I know they will not concede. On the other hand, when I watch Barcelona, even when we are 2+ goals, I'm still nervous that we will draw/lose because our team, despite scoring alot of goals, is extremely fragile. We need our team to not just control the match rhythm, but to score whenever we start applying pressure. I'm pretty sure our team doesn't have that confidence that they believe they will win, and I prove my point when we played Celta on Saturday. The last 10 min of the game, and we recieved 2 goals in 2 min when we recieved a red card. Had that been Real Madrid, even with 3 players down, you know they will not concede.

Regardless of score Real played awful until the Osasuna game. But they played in a different way yesterday and all the difference in their game was made by one guy: Arda Guller. The guy who barely got any play minutes until this game in spite of being insanely talented. He is for them for Yamal is for us. Ancelotti never considered him as a starter, but he had no choice this time due to multiple injuries. But now that Vicious Jr. injury will sideline him for a month, Real is done in UCL (Liverpool and Atalanta) and also in La Liga. I mean, who is going to score? Mbappe?🤣

I'm just saying that when something not planned happens like receiving a red card, our team shouldn't collapse like that. I want Barcelona to win everything, but to do so, they must believe that they can do that. They crumble under pressure and that is something that must be pointed out and fixed. Again, look at how Madrid defended against city last season in UCL. Lucky or not, had that been us, we would've conceded at least 4 goals. 2019, Liverpool comeback. 2018, Roma, 2017, Juventus. Kounde's mistake was unforgivable but having played football myself I did understand what exactly happened at that split moment. It's not like he wasn't aware of the opponent player behind him.. he tried to send the ball to the gk as quickly as possible and in that thought he didn't turn his foot to push the ball from the inside foot.. Instead he slapped across the ball from his outside foot (which didn't connect very well) and hence the disaster.

Flick is right, it was a bad performance the entire game, not just those last 10 minutes. I am sure the style of play we have now is so demanding, but I trust players can do it! This cannot happen again! Also, I don't think we should always press. We must have a plan B, what to do when WE are under pressure. Players get tired, and we can't always just attack.

Play Rapinha on the right, Olmo in the middle and Gavi on the left. Gavi has played there under Xavi and did good. Barca really need to just go for Nico this summer

Raphinha on the right doesn't work without Lamine. He only manage to have an impact and make those runs because Lamine holds the ball perfectly and attracts the defenders and create Chaos in the opposition mid.

My fear is this team has peaked at Bayern/Madrid games. There were big targets ever since the draws revealed, the entire club invested mentally and emotionally on those games for their immense significance. Sadly the leadership of this in term of senior players (apart from Lewa) not experienced serial winners
