Barcombe Mills and Ky's first time on a boat

Well, this was a first. We had lunch at The Anchor at Barcombe and then went on a river cruise :-) We hired a boat and paddled down the River Ouse with Ky on board. It was so much fun and we did laugh a lot. He quite enjoyed it and was a bit mesmerised at first. Then we had a lovely countryside walk and ended up at the weir. A lovely afternoon. I hope you'll join us.

@@LynnB_Ky It was so lovely for you to call me your friend, that means the world to me. I have been feeling so sad these past two days, as I watch Sherpa on You Tube, and dear, lovely Jamie, had to put him to sleep yesterday. I can totally know how he feels, as I had my Charlie dog for 12 years, and he was my everything, and I had to let him go about 4 years ago now. My heart was broken, and my world will never be the same, as he was my everything. I now have Madge the rescue greyhound as you know, and I talk to her about Charlie every day. He will never be forgotten. She is a different dog, in her on own right. So your lovely message to me lifted my spirits, as I am thinking of poor Jamie, and worrying about how he is the day after he had Sherpa put to sleep. xxx

Less flooded than the last time you went if I remember correctly?.Lovely reflections in the water. Ky's boat trip reminded me of Three Men and a Boat!

Exactly that Jean, we said that as soon as we arrived. I haven't seen the water so low before. I love water reflections too, kind of mesmerising. Haha, that will be in my mind now when I think of this, "Three Men and a Boat"! 😆 Thanks so much for watching Jean. Will we see you next weekend for the walk? 🥰
