THIS MAN was born with two rare medical conditions that have made his legs look like a pair of SCISSORS. 33-year-old, Marty Sheedy lives with Arthrogryposis - the joint contracture in two or more areas of the body - and Prune Belly Syndrome - the lack of abdominal muscles. Marty weighs only 60lbs and stands at 4ft 10”, but his lack of weight and height are not the strangest symptoms of his condition. In order to be able to move around, Marty has to use his legs in a scissor-like fashion - something most people have never seen before. Doctors gave Marty just two years to live, but he has since defied all the odds and now loves people referring to him as ‘the scissor man’ and ‘scissor legs’.

Him not knowing any different contributes too. Its not like he can compare himself. I have a skin disease that i suffer with daily. Some would say I am confident but I dont know what a day feels like without it being a nuisance. I cant compare, I was born with it. Doesn't mean you dont need to develop some level of confidence but you basically are coming to terms with what you cant change. Not always a confidence issue.

"I don't see my life as hard. I see challenges and I need help with things, but I feel that we all need help with things sometimes." I love this *so* much! I have physical disabilities and get so frustrated when people say things like, "Wow, I don't know how you do it! I could NEVER live like that." My life may be a little different, but I have a great life. I'm going to use this quote next time someone says that to me

40, 50 years ago people like this man were called freak's and couldn't get a job other than in a circus. Which is extremely disgusting to think that our world even allowed something like that to occur. I don't see a freak, a disability, or anything in that nature. I see an extraordinary human trying to live the best life possible. I absolutely LOVE this channel, because it gives people a chance to show the world their extraordinary body, mind and spirit. Wonderful.♥️

Karina Moraes how many days do you have in quarantine guys? My boyfriend is from Pernambuco and I have not wanted to ask him because he gets visibly stressed out. He told me just about the pronouncement of Bolsonaro and nothing else.
@karinamoraes
@karinamoraes 4 жыл бұрын
@@cakekyo7 Hi! Well. It's kinda hard for me to give you a precise answer since every state is considering its individual procedures. It's like we don't have a president anymore... it's a mess now. Some states are not following quarantine, others like Sao Paulo, where things are getting tougher as the cases are increasing, are almost empty, the population is cooperating. Brazilians are very preoccupied with the economy, as some of us still resist to face the truth about the disease. To tell you the truth, there are individuals thinking it is all staged lol like the midia is faking deaths and confirmation results.
