It’s very touching that losing her own child helped her to empathize with others struggling to become parents. I love that they considered everyone’s feeling including herself, the biological children, the husband and in laws. Truly a loving and supportive family.

She said the baby wasnt biologically hers, so shes not selling HER baby Shes acting as an incubator for someone elses fertilized egg I don't see the issue. Being pregnant abd delivering a baby can be costly. Medical costs, time off work etc. This is something huge. She devoted over 9 months of her life, to help a family have a baby. Why shouldnt she be compensated? When doctors perform all types of fertility tests and treatment, theyre compensated. I don't see the difference

I think that what you're done/doing is giving some really lucky people a beautiful, selfless gift. I've been lucky enough that I've never struggled with fertility issues. But I've had Aunts, and close friends that are dear to my heart and witnessed the heartache while they've struggled to conceive or worse they've tragically miscarried. There are lots of great people out there who would be wonderful parents and would give anything to be able to have the opportunity to have the opportunity to be. Yessenia, you and others like you, you're the answer to someone's prayer. You, and others like you wanting and willing to help others so selflessly, that's what I'd say that makes you an angel on earth thar brings hope to many. May you and your family always be healthy, safe, and blessed! And to all the husbands and partners of a surrogate, you are heros in my eyes too! Thank you for backing these ladies making miracles happen. I know that my pregnancy hormones back when I was having my kids were super intense and I don't doubt that I drove my husband up the wall. So thank you for being your pregnant partners rock and being so supportive while our bodies go through so many changes to bring these tiny miracles into the world.

This is incredibly sad that people are so judgemental. She provided an amazing gift and service for someone who could not physically carry their own child. You go through a lot physically and emotionally with any pregnancy. There's always risk to your health, future ability to carry a child, and the usual things such as weight gain, stretch marks, breast and body changes. It can affect your work, your family, it seems reasonable to compensate a person who takes on this risk. Yessinia is a strong amazing woman and I wish her the best ❤

It is sad, even right now I am struggling to have a child of my own. But when a couple cannot conceive, it’s a beautiful thing for them to want a family of their own even if it’s not their blood. The same for adoption. Blood does not define family.

I don’t like the idea of surrogacy. It seems exploitive and like human trafficking and there can be some emotional and mental damages on the child. That said, I guess no one is required to be a surrogate and I’d hope they’re not pressured into it and the fact is, adoption is excruciatingly difficult and people do want their own kids. It’s complicated and an ethical cluster for sure

@natalieJe10Ай бұрын
The sad part is it's easier to breed than to adopt 😔. Anybody (figuratively) can give birth and have their rights as parents. Adoption you have to prove you're able to properly care for this child/baby financially, emotionally, and physically. I wish it was the same for both but I guess I'm invading American rights with that request.

But it’s not her baby. She is carrying somebody else’s baby, because they’re not be able to for whatever reason. She’s doing it voluntarily and they’re paying her because it is her body that is also getting affected. And the parents are completely involved with the surrogate during the nine month. They’re just as eager as anyone else having a baby. Yes it is probably is emotionally and physically challenging, but no one is making her carry somebody else’s baby. That is a choice that she carefully considered. Yes adoption is always an option, and biological children are no different from adopted. Some people should still have the option to have a biological kid if possible, and if that’s even what they want. Family’s come in all forms.

Imo surrogates should be single women with no other children and minimal family. Its a beautiful sacrifice to help other couples, but it affects more than just the surrogate. I wouldn't feel comfortable putting my loved ones through watching me carry a child to term just to have to give the child away after the birth. It's a personal journey to want to help others through surrogacy. It's not fair to the people closest to the carrier mom. I imagine it feels like a loss. This was a very interesting topic, Truly. Maybe having more conversation and understanding about surrogacy will help remove the stigma around it.
