BETWEEN them, the Lamoreaux-Ferrerio family have broken over 600 bones. Mum Lisa, dad Chris and daughter Anicee all suffer from a genetic condition called Osteogenesis Imperfecta or OI, which causes their bones to be so brittle, simply sneezing or going over a bump in the road is enough to break them. There is no known cure for OI, and those living with it experience pain on a daily basis, but in spite of their condition, mum Lisa says in many ways they are just like any other family.

You can tell Anicee loves herself and is positive about her OI, but she's a person too and insecurities about the "what ifs" happen the same as it does with the rest of us. She's such a great woman.

Awww she was waiting with her bags packed? That’s so sweet... and her art is all over the house! I love that! That’s a sign of real pride and adoration. And when the mom cried and was so proud of the daughter creating a painting that was sold at the children’s hospital gala/auction for $50k, and then having someone pay another $50k to commission another painting by her, that was so touching. You can tell how much they love their daughter. What an adorable family. Their daughter is so lucky to have them.

I have a friend who has this disorder. Except not as extensive. She walks around with a walker. She’s broken almost every bone in her body at least once. Just about 2 weeks ago she stretched and broke a rib. Last year she slipped on ice and broke her jaw and lost some teeth. She was in the hospital for a few months. So fragile, but so full of life. This family is an inspiration. They’re so positive, and I wish them so much health and prosperity and love. ❤️

Those are some sweet wheel chairs tho. I'm legit jealous of those art skills too. That elephant at the end was just gorgeous. I couldn't do that if my life depended on it

When I was in middle school there was a older girl that had this. During lunch a table got hit and it broke lots of ribs. Idk what happened to her after that. She didn't come back to school. Makes me wonder.

@@XIAXCI True it's a weird comment. Makes me wonder if just the vibration of the table being hit fractured some bones. Being vibration I would assume it wouldn't be any worse than hairline fractures but yet again I don't know anything about this disorder or the authenticity of the comment.
