I know Marsha yelled out "freebird" as a joke, but with Yasha's character growth its kinda appropriate. As a winged woman who broke out of her chains, Yasha kinda is a free bird.

Probably not with her own hands, but I bet a lot of people are dead because of her. Remember what she told the Nein? "If you let anything happen to my daughter, you have no idea the literal army of men, women, and everything in between I can send after you."

I think the reason she never leaves her place anymore is because of Jester's father. I don't remember the details precisely but wasn't he going to kidnap her (with her consent obv) away from the Lavish Château so that they'd be able to get married in secret? Since he was a commoner? So he left to make arrangements but never came back, and because of that the Ruby of the Sea never leaves the château. Its a scary cruel world out there man. Idk if she already had agoraphobia before or if it developed as a consequence

I love it this way, actually. I love that Yasha has found something that is for herself, that she can't, or won't, use to fight. After being so used for so long, I think that this is a part of her learning that she is not a weapon for others to wield. She is a whole person.

I'm seeing it more and more, but the Mighty Nein seem more and more like a family as time has gone on. Trying to look back on when that really started to happen, though: *SPOILER* Not that this is anything new, I don't want to ruin anything for anyone, but... I do feel Molly's death may have been a catalyst for it. At least a point when they all started to look inward, and started to realize, maybe... just maybe... they could trust each other if no one else. And perhaps Caduceus has also been a big part of that as well, offering a bit of a moral compass for the party.

I adored the hell out of 95% of the banter. I loved Yasha's spotlight I enjoyed the creepy vibes and walkabout in the village But dang it, Marisha... I love you too, but sometimes...(*sigh) (more detail if you care) It's literally my only problem with this episode. Marisha wandering off (Marisha. Not Beau. Marisha) and deciding to chuck moldy bacon at what was obviously a dangerous creature trying to lure her away (aka, for anyone not aware of base Celtic folklore, a Banshee). She got too much Keykey in her Beau near the end there. Sorry for the rant. I have no idea why this bugged me so much. Maybe it was just the buildup of tension with Cad and a few other things. IDK. They just got back. They're getting back into the groove. I know I shouldn't be harsh.
@TheWeon0014 жыл бұрын
I think that Beau was in the mood for stupid stuff, the night before she was giving fireworks to toddlers. I feel she needs to be more confident with her skills, I miss the "Beau running through Darktow at the fucking speed of sound" moments
@JordanGold52274 жыл бұрын
@@TheWeon001 I guess that makes sense. I think there might have also be a little "I wanna punch something" from Beau/Marisha. She hasn't really done any combat since they've come back since all she did on the boat was yell Fjord's orders. IDK. We'll see what happens soon enough. I'll admit, I am kinda excited to see what Matt does to boost the Banshee and how the party deals with it.
@panadaentertainment18174 жыл бұрын
it's not a banshee. Banshees in D&D look nothing like matt described. It's a Bodak

To be fair, even for my campaigns at home, once the dm mentions something is there and that only you can perceive it, it’s really hard to leave it alone. We’re traversing the upper levels of the Abyss right now and have learned to leave stuff alone when we don’t need to interact. But there have been some moments. For example, our ranger checking out a unicorn that wasn’t a unicorn.
