You are in the trade of compound bows do -it - yourself type of guy, that has all the tools to work on your bows; that is the way I went. After watching you shoot your bow rain or shine, I got my Blackice from 35 yards through an opening 14/15” put 3/4 arrows. Raised the garage door and drew my bow, thank you for your encouragement come rain or shine, go shoot the bow.

Awesome job love the work you do. That’s great shooting. I’m a newbie and trying to learn everything I can. Because I just found out that the pro shop I went to had my draw length way to short, and I’ve been shooting like that for five months. They also had my rest in the wrong place it was a mess. Thank i met this man that teaches people and he took me under his wing and is teaching me, He also fixed my rig completely. So i need to learn anyway i'm venting sorry. thanks again i'll be watching.🙏🏽

those marks on the cams are for synchronization. timing is true to when the stops hit the cables at full draw. the only way to check that is to watch them as you draw back and make sure they hit at the same time. You should also make or buy a draw board, then if it's off, whichever one hits first you add twists (1/2 twist at a time) to that cable that hit first. Just make sure all of the strings are in the tracks and you have pressure on the string before letting it out of the press.

I am in the same boat I hope this year I can kill a deer with my compound bow I bin shooting my Mathews mission craze for 7 years and now finally I am strong enough to pull back around 50 pound draw weight. So I will go with my compound bow. For the first few weeks with my compound then if I get something cool if not I will go with my 10 point crossbow.

I have bad luck with a fall away rest. I had one I loved it it was a limb driven style. But idk if the timing was off on it or what but my arrows flew strange at times and it left a strange line on all 3 of my fletching which I know it is not a huge problem. So the bow shop told me to try a wisker biskit style. I wish I could go back to a drop away but I was told the rest style I have now is better for hunting.

Nice to see you running some bowmar grip tape and nose button.. Both have been amazing additions to my setup. From the looks of it you might benefit from using a side stabilizer
@jamescarson15852 жыл бұрын
I was gonna mention the bowmar nose button and grip wrap but with using the serving string as a nose button is technically better cause its less weight on the string so it doesnt hurt arrow speed as much as the nose button

Good looking setup. Question on the quiver…it looks like the bottom is the only part that moves. If the top moved up, that would keep the nocks out of the dirt like you said but if only the bottom moves, that does nothing for overall arrow position. Right?

Great video, I don't think I could shoot a compound without a peep sight, you can't always get a perfect rest and anchor point while hunting, especially in a tree stand where a deer can walk up from any direction.
@chrishallal11252 жыл бұрын
The older I get I want the smoother SS would be my pic. Yeah if you just want something else that is badass you go with the 28 younger don't shoot a lot on the ground 28 would be perfect for you if you like to shoot a lot you need to go with the solution just my opinion.

If there's anything I can recommend would be to find a good set of custom strings and really affect your Earl flight people don't realize it like uh I know you can have all the note nuts boats and crannies together But if you aint got a good set of strings and you gotta lot of strange or something like that maybe you gotta be messing with it all the time trying to keep it in 2 have you got a good set of custom sthat's some strange you don't have to worry about no stretch at ll I have a set on my bow that I built personally which I'm not no professional but anyway and They have been on there 2 years and they have not moved

I'm no expert and don't claim to be. But it looks like you're getting some riser torque in your front hand due to your relatively vertical grip. Look at John Dudleys school of nock series and he can really show you how to dial in your form and enhance accuracy.

Those cheap levels are the Chinese knock-offs of the ones originally made by R.S. Bowvise, someone I used to work for in his archery shop. I can tell just by the color of the yellow of the plastic that those are the crap ones. I wouldn't trust those at all. I just got myself the Solution SS a few days ago from a new Bowtech dealer in my area. Still waiting for my stabilizer kit, which should be here in another 2 weeks. Ugh. Gonna be shooting Winter league with it, but it first needs to be set up and sighted in.
