Wonderful ❤ You always choose the best!!! I was amazed to see the Anemone nemerosa and now I understand why the bulbs I used to buy years ago would not grow because they sort of dissolved in dirt after planting. They were small rounded corms, not at all like yours. Looking forward to the updates 🥰🥰🥰

Ah, I bet you had Anemone blanda, Fernanda. They are lovely too but the bulbs do need a good soak before planting.

@@GardeningatDouentza ah ok, thank you. It was long ago but I used to buy two kinds, both were corms. One would grow nicely but the other one, not at all 🥰

I love your choices! I live in Oregon, usa, and trilliums grow in the wild here, but they are loved and held dear, never considered common. Best gardeners grow them :)

Rachel; I may be behind on watching videos, but you _Always put a Smile on my face. Re: Trilliums Most Beautiful sight I've ever seen was on Blake Island (across Puget Sound Seattle) a forest completely covered / naturalized in bloom.

We all love to receive those packages. I always feel so sad in autumn if I don't order any plants, not even a few bulbs. And, yes, it does add up but I can live with that 😉. Hope you have gotten yourself some great autumn treats.

Bought some of these A. nemerosa cultivars and species at Camolin Potting Shed a couple of years ago ‘in the green’ via mail order. Great Irish nursery🙌

Thank you for sharing the joy of opening a parcel of lovely treasures . I love wood anemones & I think my favourites are Royal Blue , and Vestal . I don’t know if anemone x lipsiensis is a true ‘ nemarosa ‘ strictly speaking but it’s gorgeous too. Such ugly little twigs of things - you wonder how the hairlike roots ever produced such lush leaves & beautiful flowers . You are so lucky that you can import plants without quarantine . and what seems a ton of paper work & heavy costs . I enjoy your gardens & the videos . Wishing you a very happy Christmas .

Thank you for such a lovely comment and it's great to hear from a fellow- wood anemone lover. Vestal is also my absolute favourite but I will look out for the other two you mention. Thanks for watching and have a great week.

Nerine bowenii tends to do well outdoors here in Ireland. They do need full sun and a well-drained position to flower well. Hope this helps. @FLlife

Hey Rachel! Have you ever tried growing eulpohia graminea? Is it listed as invasive in Ireland? I was walking to the convenience store the other day, and I saw what appeared to be an orchid just growing in a sidewalk planter -- sure enough, it was. It was a cute little orchid, but apparently they have naturalized in parts of Texas and are listed as invasive... so I am going to snatch them up and try growing them indoors.

I don't know that orchid. Looks a bit like Epipactis palustris. I think I would snap it up too 😊

Real tulipa sprengeri is not difficult to source and very easy from seed .and a real joy . I do t know what those rather over large bulbs were , tulips undoubtedly but I would be wary of labeling them t sprengeri ..

Hi there. I'm not sure where you are but T. sprengeri is very difficult to source in Ireland. Thanks for the heads up.
