Bareboat charter vs crewed charter (what's the difference)

What is the solution to the catch 22 of being unqualified to bareboat, and therefore unable to gain that necessary experience to get qualified?

If you are not confident in your sailing skills, most all charter companies can send a skipper for the full week. Or just a checkout skipper to help you for a few hours or first day. Some companies will even offer they will send out an educational skipper who can teach you throughout the week and you can earn certifications while you vacation! Just about every option out there.
