Wow this review was excellent! I was thinking of getting a set of PSI A17-Ms but these are cheaper, have bigger bass drivers and seem just as quality made! I'm in love lol.

@@pz1792 barefoot. A friend barefoot is way more detailed in the low, mids and highs and the imaging was better. I am curious about the barefoots are well cause I have the solo 6 and sub6 setup.

Can anyone explain why a speaker would go to 44hz? Like what coming out of your DA would be over 22k?

Depending on your sample rate you can get a lot higher than 22k coming out. You can't really hear it, but sometimes those frequencies can impact the lower ones so having monitors that can produce them can highlight problems you wouldn't normally think about.

do you think they are worth getting next to kh120II? I love the kh120 for mixing but i want a second pair for producing, for sessions and listening to music since the kh120 are pretty flat and clinical. But I also thought about getting ns10s as reference. So do u think the footprint 03 would be a good choice for me?

the kalis have been overhyped. they're not bad if you mass load the cabinet and the front baffle with acoustic damping to mitigate the resonances in the cheap plastic and mdf enclosure. you get what you pay for in this game.

Kali is budget and entry level. Good for price but in no world are they comparable to barefoot.

@@dantepalomba7356 depends what you’re looking for. 1) treat acoustically room first, 2) listen to few sets of speakers in different places and positions. I needed smaller secondary speakers as I have big PMC system

The higher the range the less stress on the Tweeter for it reproduce the high ranges. Basically you will hear the high frequencies much clearer

Footprints are an entry point to high end monitoring. They are actually a very good price for the audio quality you get + a great company with great support. From here you would see if you need something bigger, or more detailed and you climb the ladder of barefoots higher end stuff or another brand. These aren’t really marketed to the krk starter bedroom studio crowd.
