Phenomenal playing John, I'm so glad you love the pickup so much! It's very gratifying to be able to so clearly hear the PolyPaf voice coming through in all those tones, and I'm really pleased you agree they're easy to play as well. Love the prog freakout section at 2:45

"Articulation and clarity is exceptional" When you're playing John, that is true of any guitar, amp or pedal that can be thrown at you.

You could be using hotdogs as pickups and they'd sound amazing! I'll never get sick of your composition skills and effortless looking playing! 😁
@johnhuldt27 күн бұрын
Haha if I ever have a signature pickup, it should be called the hot dog! Really appreciate the kind words. Thank you.

You're one hell of a player, and that Kiesel is sick! I'm sure I've never seen scalloped frets with True Temperament frets.

I think this might be the first guitar ever to have it :)

@@johnhuldt Did Kiesel build it that way, or did you mod it yourself?

Wait, Kiesel does True Temperament frets?
@johnhuldt27 күн бұрын
They don't. I had this installed after I got the guitar. We're trying to work something out though.
@Returnality26 күн бұрын
@@johnhuldt If you don't mind me asking, who did you get to do it and how was this done? I didn't know that carving out slots for true temperaments was possible and I didn't know that you could buy the frets themselves, or is that an entirely different neck?
@tryston202227 күн бұрын
What would you say are the differences between the Polypaf and the Peacemakers you had?
@johnhuldt27 күн бұрын
I mean, tone, output, sound. These are probably my favorite for my particular playing style. Incredibly well balanced and do all the things I want them to do.
@Eric-sh2ok16 күн бұрын
With this set up- where would other effects go in the chain? Looking to add delay and reverb
@johnhuldt16 күн бұрын
Ideally you'd put effects in the fx loop (so, between pre amp and power amp) or in the case of recording, I always add effect after I record the guitar dry.
