something REALLY merciful about Pande, is that you can still get into a locker after you're in its line of sight since it has to PHYSICALLY move towards you to kill unlike the Anglers. I once got lagged spike and pressed the locker right as Pandemonium was about to touch me and still survived.

I really love that part of him honestly and he doesn't have that insane hitbox that kills you when it gets too close. Happened to me in my first playthrough of the game and I sh*t myself basically I was waiting near a locker that was right next to the door I entered through which I didn't know what Pande was at that time and when I turned around and looked at the door for a second to check what was going on because of how slow he was ( I thought it was a angler fish ) and I got face to face with that THING and it stopped for a millisecond idk why ( locked on to me I guess as a game mechanic, it changed trajectory ) it was enough time for me to flick my mouse and hide in the locker. ( I survived ) Worst first encounter I had with a monster in a game so far.

Unlike pande the anglers don't know you're there, so that's probably why it works that way, you evade the anglers, you fight pandemonium.

u barely survived? I got my knee kicked in by a wall dweller got in a locker somehow(idk bug maybe) mid kill animation and an angler came and killed it while the last second of the animation and me going into the locker was going. I got a lucky as hell and it all happened in a span of 2 seconds😭

well guess what? MY WALL DWELLER DID THE EXACT OPPOSITE! I was in server rooms, angler was coming, i decided to hide behind a server and the wall dweller started his kill animation, angler came through mid-animation. Because of the animation, my body was visible to angler, and he killed me.
