I love how Steve does the same dance as in the music video, lol. BNL just isn't the same without Steve.

He always comes off as more of the audience jamming along with the song rather than just the singer performing it. This was smth that made BNL great live and sadly not smth that modern BNL could recreate.

I know - that classic steve dance was hilarious and made every song/performance even more fun

@@ThatguyUkn0wfr0mS0mewhere So true, it put everyone at ease. that's what I found differentiated BNL from other bands. Nothing pretentious, just goofy and fun

Not the same. But still about the best damn live show going. I don't hold it against the band that Steve was such a F up.

Agreed. I've never grown to like Kevin

Vocally sure, but Kevin's wide range of instruments and his ability are a pretty good contender to Andy.

@@ThatguyUkn0wfr0mS0mewhere I think in both cases, those two were/are responsible for a lot of the overall sound of the band during their respective tenures, but those sounds are just very different. Andy tended towards jazz, classical, and an overall sound that's somewhat unusual for a pop band. Kevin is definitely has a more pop/rock influence, which was probably much better for the band commercially. Personally I prefer Andy. I don't think I'd say that one or the other is objectively better though, except in regards to vocals as you mentioned, where Andy is objectively much stronger.

@@balthasardenner5216 100% agree with you, I just think that many of the bands more well known songs just wouldn't sound the same without Kev.

I agree! It's funny I was just talking about this exact performance to a co-worker the other day and how I've longed for it 😅 so happy I can hear and see it again!

Barenaked Ladies with a horn section. I've never seen this before, nor am I used to it! It's cool, though. 😊
