When the song was played in the final scene on the last show, they should have sung the entire theme's lyrics and have a big montage of some memorable moments from all 12 seasons of the show while the song was being played. Then once the song winds down then they could've used that footage of the gang together in the apartment eating as shown. All that being said though, I will miss TBBT because the laughs the show gave me really lifted me up when I needed a smile. Thanks to all the actors and especially the ppl behind the scenes. They really went out with a BANG!

I've seen them live a handful of times, both in arena concerts and outdoor music venues. I've really enjoyed their shows and love that their music and shows can be family friendly. I love to take my kid to concerts so he can grow up loving them! I especially loved seeing BNL play with Cowboy Mouth in Nashville! That was amazing.

I'm from the same place as the Barenaked Ladies and they are an amazing group. Their other lead singer who had fantastic vocals had to leave the band bc of his personal issues with drugs. It's sad bc he was great too but we are so happy they continued to thrive even without him--it wasnt easy

Co-lead singer Ed Robertson was asked by Lorre and Prady to write a theme song for the show after the producers attended one of the band's concerts in Los Angeles. By coincidence, Robertson had recently read Simon Singh's book Big Bang, and at the concert he improvised a freestyle rap about the origins of the universe. Lorre and Prady phoned him shortly thereafter and asked him to write the theme song. Having been asked to write songs for other films and shows, but ending up being rejected because producers favored songs by other artists, Robertson agreed to write the theme only after learning that Lorre and Prady had not asked anyone else.
