This is what I like to see, my man. A 2:45 marathon is a 6:18 pace per mile. Watching you get yourself to that level will be extra spicy. Please show us the workouts. Of course, once you break 2:45, I'll be rooting for you to get sub-2:30, which puts you into elite level. And why not? You're still relatively young. If you can get into the nature of the workouts, how you build your base, how you build your speed, and then taper and sharpen, it would be very interesting. Obviously, speed is going to be a much bigger factor this time around. Will you be doing some mile time trials to test your fitness? I think you're ready for a 4:45 mile. What say you?

I've run Buffalo twice. It's a good race - great course with lots of support, very well organized, etc. But it is a risky marathon in terms of weather and never knowing what you'll get. I also felt someone overwhelmed by all the people in the first few miles. I had to weave through so many bodies because the half started with the full race.
