I received my green dial model yesterday. Apart from some back play with the bezel it’s great value in the micro brand market. Delivery was extremely quick to Australia under the current circumstances. The lume is I reckon the best I have seen bar none!

I actually got one of these, I got the newsletter. It’s actually a very nice watch. My only issue was that the Bezel was hard to grab because of the edge they choose for it. Be aware, it’s a pin-and-collar bracelet. I also had a Reef Diver, which I thought was nice as well but eventually sold.

Aum Shanti No problem. They are a little bit of a pain, but they are more secure then friction pins. Seiko uses them on most of there models, even the expensive ones.

Who else is looking to buy this “homage” because they simply can’t afford the venerated Helm Vanuatu.

I have to admit, I like this better than the Helm. I've had two Vanuatu's. They finish on each was different. It was better on the 2019 version than the 2018 so that could either mean improvement or inconsistent. The dials were also flat and empty looking with the almost invisible logo. The rehaut too high. Overall, it may not be a popular opinion but I just wasn't a fan of it and the longer I had them I just couldnt' wait to get rid of them. I like the blue/green color on this Audaz. The dial is more balanced and I bet it pops in the sunlight. The crown is pretty cool. The crowns on both my Helms (2019 new, 2018 used) were gritty. The helm did have one of the best bezels I've used. Super easy to grip and tight but not too tight. I got off on a tangent but overall there isn't anything too special about the Helm and nothing to eliminate this as a viable, comparable alternative. Booth are sub 300.00 watches. I'm actually impressed with the Phoibos I just got (Voyager). I had been wanting to try a Phoibos but the name stopped me. Well I did and I'm extremely impressed with it and it caught me by surprise. I was expecting just another average sub 300.00 watch. I won't be keeping it either as I have too many and micros aren't my preferred watch but I highly recommend it from a fit and finish perspective and it changed my opinion of Phoibos. Sorry for the rambling, I just started typing while replying.
