Bargain Hunters- Roberto Clemente, $75 Budget!

Today I'm joined by Steve ‪@vintageonvintage817‬ and John ‪@jpcards‬ ! They have a collaboration, that they do on Steve's channel called Bargain Hunters. On the show, they pick out a baseball player and budget (between $10-$50) and buy a card of that player for the show on a budget. I invited them on 4 Collectors, because I love the show so much and I wanted to be a part of it. So, we are doing my favorite player today- Roberto Clemente. Steve and John upped the budget to $75, because of this special episode. We will also show some of our favorite Clemente cards, as well as some Clemente cards you can buy for under $50.

Another great episode! I am always impressed with what you add for the budget. This show gives you an idea of what is out there for collectors who don’t have a large budget. Steve, pretty awesome you got a 57 Topps Clemente for that low of a price. I like the photo on the Daily Juice too. John, while the photo is cropped pretty tight on the Wheaties Stamp, I think it shows very nicely. I love the serious and determined expression. Theo, I think you have to win since you’re the Clemente Collector. lol. Well done getting two cool cards for under $75. Thanks for sharing!

This was a really fun bargain hunt, and it was just great to dive a bit more into Clemente's cards. He has A LOT of great portrait cards in my opinion, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to target the Clemente '69 O-Pee-Chee Deckle Edge sometime in 2025. Steve, Theo -- awesome pickups as always. Great video, and topic. Love the Clemente cards. Would be fun to see videos of collectors showing their top 25-top50 cards or whatever, not just by price, and rarity, etc. But cards they also just enjoy having, that is ''cheap,'' but still has value. Nostalgic. Sentimental. Though that's just me. I know we are all different types of collectors. 🤪 Of course, the Clemente Collector won. But great showing too, from Steve and John P. Also, I like the way John P. Describes the images on cards. He's right. The 1961 Topps Roberto Clemente is a bit dark. Even in mid grade, not sure about the color on the higher grades.
