200k plus?! Yikes!!! We’re all poor damn it!!!! Yes I agree on the move in ready but it has to be done to my exact specifications and I need to be in Rome and I want a house with a huge yard with no neighbors or buildings but I need to be no more than 10 seconds walk to shops and restaurants and my budget is 10 cents. Make it happen!

Worth every euro for what you get. That being said, I would immediately tear out the drain of the shower, pipe up and around the corner of the wall in the back of the bathroom and install a rain shower head, cement in a curb between the bathroom walls, re-tile the floor, sloped to the drain. Also I would have designed it with the kitchen in the back with the dining/living area by the windows. That's where you'll be relaxing and need the light. Under counter led lighting and spots will more than suffice in the kitchen. Plus there is no weird place to put a refrigerator, instead, it can be in line with the kitchen cabinetry and speaking of which, the boiler would be hidden by cabinetry too. Such an unsightly thing, especially put right on display right next to the door to the balcony. LOL Don't bump your head on that eye-sore. LOL The tilers look like they may need lessens on laying a floor flat. They make these things call grinders to remove high spots and liquid floor leveler where you have low spots. I spotted at least two trip hazards on each floor where the tiles are raised.

why isnt the shower the whole width of the bathroom.? its really silly to leave a gap of about a foot when you could have a reasonable shower.
@lapsedluddite33819 ай бұрын
The first (very easy) change I would make would be to add a full width shower pan, with glass doors.
@scottmcshannon68219 ай бұрын
is italian property tax based on the size of the shower pan? nothing else explains the size of most italian showers.@@lapsedluddite3381

wow, compared, to those "1 euro" homes, this is a palace! it, Just needs a really nice kitchen, spend like 5 grand kitchen, and a solar system to power everything, new water heaters, furnace, and a/c units. and keep the place about 65 degrees, in the summer. shelby says ruff

It seems tiring I have to come downstairs to go to the bathroom
@thehungrygoldfish8 ай бұрын
That’s common in Europe. There’s usually only one bathroom in most houses. If the house is two floors, you’d either get one on the bottom floor or one on the top floor but almost never both unless it’s new construction or a previous homeowner put it in.

I prefer to have something unrenovated. Agre with most comments on changes. So though it's renovated it's tasteless and unfunctional. I think i saw tiles are uneven(?). Now needs quite some money to fix the shoebox.

@scottmcshannon68219 ай бұрын
the kitchen and bath are both new and share a wall, so why didnt they put the plumbing for both the kitchen and bath in the same wall? not that the house inst a super bargain. it should be relatively easy to add a bath upstairs since that bedroom is huge.
@maryannewilson33059 ай бұрын
I'd put the boiler in the bathroom since the kitchen area is right up to the edge of the balcony doors and a boiler is large and unattractive.
